OUR BEGINNING
In 2018, we started the Des Moines 4x4 Adventures Club to connect with fellow offroad enthusiasts, facilitate overland meet-ups and group adventures throughout the Midwest and beyond.
Over the years, the DSM4x4 community has grown to include people from all over the Midwest but despite the enthusiasm, the expertise and connections made – we found Des Moines was still lacking a shop that could really support the 4x4, overlanding offroad community.
Powers 4x4 exists because it is our belief that Des Moines deserves a dedicated offroad shop. Our team brings decades of experience and tens of thousands of offroad miles to the work we do– infusing every build we take on with expertise and integrity.
